is proud to announce the institution of a Dropout Prevention and Recovery
Program (DPRP) for students who have dropped out of or who are in danger of
dropping out of school. Our accredited
high school program addresses the need of those learners who have experienced *personal
hardship and who are NOW ready to maximize their potential.
Our educational services fulfill course requirements and will enable our learners to earn a high school diploma or complete an alternative path to college by demonstrating college readiness. All students ages 15 and above (no age restriction) qualify.
This partnership between Knowledge-First and local school districts is designed for two purposes: (1) Help students fulfill graduation requirements and (2) help schools lower their dropout rates.
As a member of the National Dropout Prevention Network, we provide maximum flexibility to meet individual student needs, including: a wide array of academic and social supports, including child care and transportation, open entry to and open exit from program, a variety of instructional programming, including small group, and multiple scheduling options, including weekend and evening classes.
In addition to their classroom assignments, students must be willing to devote four hours per month on volunteer community service opportunities and/or educational endeavors and complete and abide by the Knowledge-First Academy policy and procedure package.
Morning and evening classes are available at 2651 Cartwright Rd., Suite-C, Missouri City 77459. Our phone number is 281.499.8315. Please visit our website, call or stop in for more information. Hurry before classes are filled!
