Our curriculum
integrates writing and language arts with reading comprehension
instruction, sequencing and linking lesson activities based on content
themes and instructional level.
Lessons focus on authentic, real world communication tasks while
teaching the essentials of the writing process, effective communication,
and essay writing.
Supporting lessons in spelling and language usage are assigned in a
student’s individualized program as appropriate. Cooperative
learning, in the form of network controlled peer readers, is utilized to
evaluate the effectiveness of a student’s written communication.
We provide curriculum activities to develop the communication skills
that students need to succeed in testing, advanced courses and
careers.
